Handwritten Declaration for IBPS Clerk Recruitment
During the IBPS Clerk Apply Online process, candidates have to submit a handwritten declaration. It should be written on white paper with a black pen in a neat and legible handwriting. The content mentioned below has to be written in English.
"I, (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required."
The dimensions of the picture should be 800 x 400 (200 DPI preferred) and the file size should be between 50 KB – 100 KB. Ensure that it is in JPG/JPEG format.

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS Clerk 2026
To apply for the IBPS Clerk Recruitment, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the IBPS. The eligibility conditions include nationality, age limit, and educational qualifications.
The applicant must be(nationality):
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, intending to settle permanently, or
- A person of Indian origin (PIO) who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries with the intention of permanent settlement in India.
Candidates other than Indian citizens must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
IBPS Clerk Age Limit
The age limit for IBPS Clerk Recruitment is 20 to 28 years. The candidates applying for the exam must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1998 and not later than 01.07.2006.

IBPS Clerk Educational Qualification 2026
Candidates applying for the IBPS Clerk Recruitment must meet the educational qualifications.
Essential Qualification:
- A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India.
- Candidate should be a graduate on or before the registration date, as they have to enter their graduation marks while applying.
- Candidate is required to have a basic working knowledge of computers. It is mandatory to either have a certificate/degree in computer operations or have IT/Computer Science as one of the subjects in college or school.
- Knowing how to read, write, and speak the official language of the state or UT that the candidate is applying for is preferable.
Required Documents for IBPS Clerk Registration in 2026
Candidates are advised to have these documents ready before starting their application process:
1. Scanned Photograph and signature: Ensure the file size and the dimensions meet the specified requirements.
2. Handwritten Declaration: Candidates are required to write a declaration on a piece of white paper with a black/blue pen and upload a scanned copy of it.
3. Left thumb impression: A scanned copy of the candidate’s left thumb impression.

IBPS Clerk 2026 Application Process
- Go to the official website https://ibps.in
- Find the “Click for new registration” and start your registration process
- Click on the New Registration button in the top right corner of the homepage to start the registration.
- Fill in the basic details such as name, contact number, email ID, address, etc, to complete your application process, then click on the save and next button to move to the next section.
- Upload the required handwritten declaration, your signature, and your photograph in the format as given by the IBPS. The photograph must be of passport size with a white background. Both the photograph and the signature must be clear and legible.
- Enter your academic qualifications and professional details as required in the online application form. Once completed, click on the "Save & Next" button to proceed.
- Carefully review your application form before final submission, as no further modifications will be allowed. After ensuring all details are correct, click on the "Save & Next" button.
- Make the application fee payment using any of the available online payment methods, such as Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
- Click on the "Submit" button to successfully complete your application process.
- Upon submission, you will receive an email confirmation from SBI containing your registration ID and password, which will be required for future logins.
