In Budget 2020, there are some changes in the CET (Common Eligibility Test) Which occurs every year. As we know that Common Eligibility Test is the screening test where candidates don’t have to face any cut off marks they just need to score a good marks to be eligible for the government recruitment exams like Railway, SSC, Bank and state government exams. But now cut off is necessary in this test.

But recently our Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that Common eligibility test will be essential from 2021 for applying in state government jobs like SSC MTS, SSC CGL, SSC CHSL , RRB NTPC and various Banking Exams like SBI PO, IBPS PO and Bank Clerk  .

An Autonomous body is established which is named as NRA ( National Recruitment Agency) leads to CET  for aspiring candidates. Common Portal:-

Candidates can apply through a common registration portal under NRA System they only have to pay a single entrance fees for the examination. Scores for this exam will be valid for three years.

Another good news for the candidates is that this process also reduces the chances of cheating and paper leakage so, candidates will no need to worry about that and give their best efforts for the preparation of exam . Examination centre will be arrange in various rural areas each and every district.  Separate CETs shall be conducted for higher secondary, matriculates and graduates.
