- Find the "RRB NTPC 2025 Online Application" link and click on it
- Enter your basic details like name, date of birth, father's name, mother's name, Aadhar number, and contact information for registration.
- After registration, fill in the application form with personal, academic, and professional details.
- Select your preferred posts and railway zone in the correct order.
- Now, upload the scanned documents like your photo (file size between 30 KB and 70 KB in JPEG format), signature (file size between 30 KB and 70 KB in JPEG format), and category certificate (if applicable).
- Pay the application fee after filling the application form through UPI, debit/credit card, or net banking.

RRB NTPC eligibility criteria 2025
To apply for the RRB NTPC Recruitment, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the Railways. The eligibility conditions include nationality, age limit, and educational qualifications.
Nationality or citizenship requirements:
A candidate must be either:
- a citizen of India, or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2025
The RRB NTPC selection is a systematic process and involves 4 stages. These 4 stages are :
- 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
- 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable)
- Document Verification/Medical Examination
The CBT 1 and CBT 2 are objective-type exams with 3 sections (General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence & Reasoning) and negative marking. CBT 1 has 100 questions, whereas CBT 2 has 120.

In-Hand Pay, Allowances, and Benefits
Every RRB NTPC employee’s salary is calculated by adding various allowances to the basic pay, which forms a major part of the total compensation. The key allowances and benefits include:
- Dearness Allowance (DA): It is provided to cover the cost of living in a certain city. It is revised periodically by the government.
- Transport Allowance (TA): This is given to cover the commuting expenses
- House Rent Allowance (HRA): This is given to the employees who don’t stay in the railway-provided accommodation and depends on the type of city the employee lives in.
- X Cities: 24% of Basic Pay (e.g., Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata)
- Y Cities: 16% of Basic Pay
- Z Cities: 8% of Basic Pay
- Pension Scheme: Railway employees are covered under the NPS Scheme.
