SBI PO Age limit & Relaxation 2026
The candidate must be 21 to 30 years old to be eligible for the SBI PO Exam.
Candidates belonging to the reserved categories can make use of the benefits of age relaxation as per the rules of the Government of India.

SBI PO Education Qualification Details 2026
- A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government of India.
- Candidate should be a graduate on or before the registration date, as they have to enter their graduation marks while applying.
- Candidates with an integrated dual degree (IDD) must ensure that the date of passing is on or before the application deadline.
SBI PO Nationality Requirements
To be eligible, a candidate must be:
- An Indian citizen,
- A Nepalese or Bhutanese citizen,
- A Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before 1st January 1962, or
- A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, or Vietnam to settle permanently in India.

SBI PO Reservation Criteria for Persons with Disability
Other than the eligibility criteria mentioned in the previous sections, there are other reservation rules that apply to PwBD candidates. These are:
- 4% of all the job openings in a particular state or region are reserved for the PwBD candidates
- People with various disabilities, such as Blindness/Low Vision (B&LV), Deaf/Hard of Hearing (D&HH), Locomotor Disabilities (LD), and Intellectual/Learning Disabilities (ID/SLD/MI/Multiple), are eligible for this reservation
- The PwBD candidates must have a valid disability certification issued by a medical authority to claim the benefit.
- Persons with disabilities are also entitled to benefits like scribes and compensatory time under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act,
- The eligibility under the PwBD reservation will be verified by the authorities during the document verification stage.
SBI PO Eligibility Based on CIBIL Score
There is no minimum CIBIL score specified by SBI in the official notification. However, a clean financial history is essential for the candidature.
Here are some things to note:
- Candidates don’t need a specific CIBIL score to apply for the exam
- Candidates should get a No Objection Certificate (NOCs) in case they have poor credit or pending dues
- If the candidate fails to resolve the issue, they will lose the provisional offer.
