For this post, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a university or an equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government. Those in the last year/semester of their degree can also apply provisionally, but must present proof of graduation during the interview stage. For Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) holders must ensure their passing date matches the notification details. Candidates with a CA qualification are also eligible for the post.
SBI PO 2026 Age Limit and Relaxation Policies for Reserved Categories
To be eligible for the SBI PO 2026 recruitment, candidates must be 21 to 30 years old as of April 1, 2025. Only those applicants whose date of birth falls between April 2, 1995, and April 1, 2004 (inclusive of both dates) are allowed to apply.

The SBI PO recruitment process is divided into three stages, beginning with an online written examination, followed by the Main exam, and ending with a final interview round.
Stage 1: Preliminary Examination
The SBI PO 2026 selection process begins with the Prelims exam, which helps shortlist candidates for the Mains stage. Every aspirant must clear the Prelims to move ahead.

Stage 2: Main Examination
Once you successfully clear the Prelims round, you will be called for the Mains round, where the level of questions is a bit higher. In this phase, your deep knowledge of the subjects will be thoroughly tested, and you will need to demonstrate a higher level of understanding and problem-solving skills to move to the next round, i.e., the Interview and the GD round.
