IBPS Clerk Age Limit 2026

IBPS Clerk Educational Qualification 2026

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government of India.
  • Candidate should be a graduate on or before the registration date, as they have to enter their graduation marks while applying.
  • Candidate is required to have a basic working knowledge of computers. It is mandatory to either have a certificate/degree in computer operations or have IT/Computer Science as one of the subjects in college or school.
  • Knowing how to read, write, and speak the official language of the state or UT that the candidate is applying for is preferable.

IBPS Clerk Nationality Criteria 2026

To be eligible, a candidate must be:

  • An Indian citizen,
  • A Nepalese or Bhutanese citizen,
  • A Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before 1st January 1962, or
  • A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, or Vietnam to settle permanently in India.

IBPS Clerk 2026 Reservation Rules for PwBD Candidate

Other than the eligibility criteria mentioned in the previous sections, there are other reservation rules that apply to PwBD candidates. These are:

  • 4% of all the job openings in a particular state or region are reserved for the PwBD candidates

  • People with various disabilities such as visual impairment, hearing issues, and physical
  • disabilities who are specified under Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act are eligible for this reservation
  • The PwBD candidates must have a valid disability certification issued by a medical authority to claim the benefit.
  •  The eligibility under the PwBD reservation will be verified by IBPS during the document verification stage.
