The SSC GD Cut-Off 2026 will be based on various factors listed below:
1. Number of vacancies released: The cut-off marks are generally lower when the number of openings is high and higher when the openings is lower.
2. The level of difficulty in Prelims and Mains exams: Cut-off marks go lower if the difficulty level is higher than in previous years.
3. Number of applications: A huge number of applications increases the competition, thereby increasing the cut-off marks.
4. Category reservation and normalisation: The cut-off varies based on category-wise reservations, with relaxation provided for SC, ST, OBC, and EWS candidates. Additionally, the normalisation process ensures fairness by adjusting scores across shifts to balance for difficulty variations.
