1
Four of the following five are alike in the certain way and so form a group. Which is the one that does not belong to the group?
» Explain it
A
Following the final solution we can say that  Boby is the one that does not belongs to the group bcause all the other persons are couple but Charu is unmarried.

Hence, the correct answer is option A.

Common Explanation:

Reference:

Kapil is the father of Boby and has only one son.
Daya is the daughter in law of Kapil.

Inference:

Studying the given information, we can see that there are two possible cases for Kapil and Boby. Let’s see them one by one:

Case 1:

Boby is the only son of Kapil.

If Boby is the only son of Kapil then we can easily say that Daya is the Wife of Boby.

Case 2:

Boby is not the only son of Kapil.

If Boby is not the only son of Kapil then she is the sister in law of Daya.

Reference:

Charu is the aunt of Babita, who is the daughter of Daya
Charu is the daughter of Atma with two children.

Inference:

We can use this information in both of our cases and here we can also say that Atma is the wife of Kapil.

Reference:

Ratna is the son-in-law of Atma and the father of Jetha.
Sonu is the uncle of Champa.
Each child has both of its parents alive.

Inference:

Here, we cannot establish Sonu as the uncle of Champa in our case 2 without contradicting the given information. So from now on we will not continue our Case 2

And now we can easily place the above persons in Case 1 and can say that Sonu is the husband of Daya and, Jetha and Champa are the children of Charu and Ratna.
